Bel Karper Workers Will Win Through Solidarity

Workers at Bel Karper in Çorlu, Turkey have been on strike since May 17, 2021 because Groupe Bel company obstructs the wishes of the workers to be represented by their union Tekgıda-İş and refuses to enter into negotiations for a collective bargaining agreement. But workers, together with their union Tekgıda-İş, have not given up their struggle for their rights. IUF (International Union of Food, Agricultural, Hotel, Restaurant, Catering, Tobacco and Allied Workers' Associations) has launched a campaign to support Bel Karper workers. UID-DER (Association of International Workers’ Solidarity) supports IUF’s campaign and Bel Karper workers and pays regular visits to the picket line for solidarity.
