- Struggle of workers for their rights is growing in Turkey. Following the Belkarper, Adkotürk and Denim Tekstil workers in Thrace cities of Turkey, Kopaş Kozmetik workers also chose the road of struggle. Organized under Petrol-İş union, Kopaş workers say, “No one can take away our will to organize!”
- Despite repression and obstruction by the police and even military police forces, the strikes of Belkarper and Adkotürk workers organised under Tekgıda-İş union hold on Striking workers are preparing to carry on under winter conditions.
- Bakırköy Municipality laid off some of the workers who are members of Genel-İş union. Dismissed workers are waging a struggle against union-busting.
- In Kocaeli, HEBO Construction workers who had joined Öz Çelik-İş union are still picketing.
- Uğur Tekstil workers' struggle in Urfa ended in success. They had been dismissed for they joined the DİSK Garment Workers' Union. The boss agreed to reinstate all of the dismissed workers and negotiate with the union.
- Mitsuba workers in Gebze, refused to leave the factory in response to the dismissals. They made the boss recognise the union.
- For weeks, the struggle of Salcomp Xiaomi workers who had previously joined Türk Metal union ended in victory. Dismissed workers returned to work without giving up their union membership.
- Standing with the workers who fight for their rights, UİD-DER is paying regular visits to the striking and picketing workers in many cities. Their struggle is also being regularly covered in UİD-DER media in a variety of forms.
