Solidarity Event With Bakirkoy Municipality Workers

Association of International Workers Solidarity UID-DER is there for Bakirkoy Municipality workers who have been on strike for weeks. As workers from UID-DER pay a massive visit on 27 November, there was also a solidarity event in the strike spot. At a time when real inflation rate exceeds 50% and purchasing power of workers rapidly melting away, the Municipality pushes for no hike in wages and the workers who are members of Belediye-Is are resolutely fighting for their rights. Workers form UID-DER coming from factories, hospitals, from around diverse work places helped boost the morale of striking workers.
